Paylalo Supplier Portal
The Supplier Portal at supplier.paylalo.com is the purchasing-side twin of the Customer Portal. A supplier that’s already in the buying company’s supplier master registers with the email the buyer has on file, the buyer approves the request, and then the supplier can sign in. It sits next to the Supply Chain / Procurement app, because the purchase orders and canvass requests (requests for quotation) raised there are what a supplier would see and answer here.
The sign-in page sums it up: “Register, keep your contact details current, and submit your business documents to your buyer — in one secure place.”
The screens
- Sign in (/login): email and password. Bad credentials and pending accounts get the same neutral error.
- Create your account (/register): email (it has to match the buyer’s records), an optional full name, password and confirm password.
- Pending approval: after registering, the supplier waits until “your buyer approves the request”.
- The signed-in area. The address paths (routes) built into the portal are profile, documents, purchase orders (pos), canvass and canvasses (canvass quotes) and ledger. I couldn’t reach them without approval (see the notes at the end).
Signing in
This is how an approved supplier gets into their account. There are two fields, Email and Password, and the password has a show/hide eye.
- Open supplier.paylalo.com. It goes to /login.
- Enter the email and password and click Sign in. The button shows a spinner while it checks.
- If the check fails, you get:
Invalid credentials — or your account is still awaiting approval. Contact your buyer.
Like on the Customer Portal, I used one message for an unknown email, a wrong password and a pending account. The only change is that it says “Contact your buyer”. The inner pages are protected. /profile, /pos and a direct canvass link (/canvass/

Registering
Registration is for a supplier the buyer already knows who wants portal access. The form asks for:
- Email, with the hint “Use the email your buyer has on file for you.”
- Full name, which is optional.
- Password, with the hint “Minimum 8 characters.”
- Confirm password.
Here’s what I did:
- From sign-in, clicked Create an account.
- Entered the email
zzdoc.supplier.test@example.com, the name “ZZ-DOC Supplier Portal Test”, and a password of at least 8 characters. - Clicked Create account.
- The confirmation read:
If your email is on our supplier list, your registration is now pending approval. You can sign in once your buyer approves the request.
It also had a Back to sign in link.
A short password is refused before anything gets sent: “Password must be at least 8 characters.” When I tried both a short password and a confirmation that didn’t match, only the length message showed. It reports one problem at a time.

Waiting for approval
When I signed in with the new account straight away, I got the neutral “still awaiting approval” error. The supplier stays locked out until the buyer approves the request in the back office. That approval step lives outside this portal, and I didn’t use it.

Inside the portal (not reached)
Registration needs the buyer’s approval, so I stopped testing at the pending state, as I’d been asked to. I didn’t see any of the signed-in screens. The portal’s route table, the list of address paths built into the site, has these entries:
- profile and documents;
- pos (purchase orders);
- canvasses, canvasses/:id and canvass/:id (canvass requests for quotation and the supplier’s quote);
- ledger (the supplier’s accounts-payable ledger with the buyer).
I couldn’t confirm how these screens look, what they show, or how a quote gets submitted.
How it fits together
- The buyer sets the supplier up in its supplier master, with the email on file.
- The supplier registers on the portal, and the request goes into pending approval.
- The buyer approves the request, and the supplier can sign in.
- Going only by the route names, the supplier would then see purchase orders raised in Supply Chain, answer canvass requests with quotes, follow their AP ledger, and keep their profile and documents up to date. I didn’t see those screens.
Notes from testing
- Approval blocked the rest. I registered
zzdoc.supplier.test@example.comand left it at pending approval. I couldn’t document profile, documents, purchase orders, canvass quotes or the AP ledger, because they all need an approved account, and approving it would have meant using the back office. - The confirmation is worded conditionally (“If your email is on our supplier list…”). So it’s not clear whether a request for an email that isn’t on file creates anything at all.
- The neutral sign-in error protects the supplier list, but a supplier who’s waiting gets no status beyond “Contact your buyer”.
